How MOTDesk collects, uses and protects information for garages and their customers.
Overview
MOTDesk ("we", "us") provides MOT booking and workshop management software to UK garages. This policy explains what we collect when you use the MOTDesk dashboard, mobile app, customer booking widget, and related services.
We process data to run your account, take payments through Stripe, send booking confirmations and MOT reminders, and improve the product. We do not sell customer data to third parties.
Data we collect
- Garage account details: business name, address, contact email, staff users and roles.
- Customer booking data: name, phone, email, vehicle registration, appointment times, MOT results.
- Payment metadata processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
- Usage and technical logs to keep the service secure and reliable.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you or your garage. Contact support@motdesk.com for privacy requests.
